26 + 10 hatchday treat from PTL

adding another tally to a super late hatchday celebration with PTL... only 5 months late this time round... one month shy of breaking the record of half a year back in 2012 when he was based in Bahrain... =P

because of the rain tat afternoon, the original plan of dinning at haji lane was substituted with lunch at Itacho Sushi @ Bugis
he asked me to hold it up... i tot he was scanning the QR code to place our order ... (-_-!!!)

caramelised omelette

my favourite - avocado with soft shell crab

curry lobster, cheese fish roe and lobster salad sushi for me

crab chawanmushi for me too

then we walked over to Ah Chew dessert
yam paste for me and some chap-ba-lang dessert for him

highlight for this outing was a visit to the camera museum located at 8C, 8D Jalan Kledek, 199264 (Kampong Glam area)

i like how tall and slim i look here.... 我好像真的有瘦一点哦!

there was a discount and we paid $15/ pax

given a booklet with information which we could refer to while browsing through all the exhibit

these pigeon cameras weighs up to 75g each and were used in war

a replica of the largest camera in the world, known as the Mammoth Camera

many many 老古董 cameras were on displayed

found one that's as old as us....

one of the oldest cameras in this museum

A little corner with trick museum style of pic oppt
Great seeing you here Sir

the day ended with mahjong with Laurice & mabelene and i won $60.... it was a lucky day for me....  free food, free museum visit and free money... =D

i Light Marina Bay 2018

we been craving for this lobster porridge meal from Orchid Live Seafood on Jalan Kelulut since both Laurice & Joyce recommended them to us last year and we found the perfect occasion to indulge in it - March's "Happi Wife, Happi Ang" in conjunction with PB month.... school has been extremely kind to a slacker me ... woohoo!!!

the famous lobster porridge - way more than enough to feed two hungry Angs

All these for $88 nett... no service charge & no GST... =) ... the fried chicken was my favourite....

tummy full full and off we went to walk off the calories at i Light Marina Bay 2018

spotted this pretty pretty installation, Digital Light Canvas, in mbs, at the corner of mbs itself nearer to the Art Science Museum ... the sparkling chandelier is 14m long and suspended 6m above a 15m wide LED floor which is interactive with each footstep ... no wonder we spotted many children running and stomping within the lighted circular zone... =)

a pop up bar that is constructed with colourful reusable plastic tanks

Giant Octopus whose colours literally runs when you tap on the oil drums attached to the base of each tentacle

in love & in bloom

due to their spherical base, they sway even to the slightest wind... so ended by like minimalist 不到翁s... =P

looks like copper coins from afar... turned out to be coffee jars

vacuum packed plastic trash

 Why so much trash???

trying to get the 'love' between us needed some 'to the left, to the left, to the right, to the right' coordination.... can tell that i can give very good instruction to hubby Ang but didnt ensure that i listened to my own instruction.... wahahahaha

a gigantic version of the tic-tok-tic-tok that i loved to play with when i was a kid....

same same but different

i feel thin already walking this one big big round... =P
