lesson 1 - 13 August 2013

what a terrible shock i had when without much instruction, we were  given an A3 art paper and instructed to draw a black & white realistic drawing of one of the 2 set-ups displayed within 2 hours.

set-up A

set-up B

i chose set-up B but eventhough i had went through 5 lessons of "Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain" during ATPP last year, this was just too much to handle la.... so complicated, with so many items overlapping each other...

argkkkk..... i really feel like doing this!!!!....

anyway, this was the best i could do within 2 hours

i deliberately left out certain things... too many different things to focus on till i crossed-eyes lo .... =S

then we were told to grade ourselves on a scale of 0 to 10 on the 8 factors listed...can see that i failed myself on most of them lo... =S

ending the 1st lesson with 2 homework...=(

(1) a page of MINIMUM 50 squares of various sizes +
must be drawn free hand + cannot use eraser!!!
Why??????

so many wobbly lines.... =S

(2) A drawing of the Environment

chose the easiest piece of wall at home for this homework... =P
