~♥~ Valentine's Day 2017

i always tell Mr Ang ALTHOUGH i do not appreciate bouquet flowers, i REALLY REALLY DONT MIND receiving a stalk of flower every now and then de... but 左 hint, 右 hint, 明示, 暗示, till date, after 6 years of marriage and 7.5 years of being together.... his flower record amounts to only 3, my wedding bouquetpre-wedding shoot bouquet and the 3 Gerbera daises when we just got together ... =D

so surprise surprise was I when he presented me with this single stalk mini bouquet on Valentine's day itself....

i asked, "woah... ur SWC give every teacher one stalk ah???"

"No la.... i walked past GIANT got sell"....

wahahahaha....price tag still intact somemore.....oki, oki, i appreciate the love, hubby.... i was super diligent in keeping it watered for the whole week while it was on display in our little artificial green space... =D

Came weekend

our simple belated Valentine's Day dinner

and dessert

Mr Ang, "Why need  to take so many pictures? Can eat already anot?"

Mr Ang, "You don't want to eat, i eat first!"

Went shopping with the Taka voucher that was gifted with and bought 2 sets of 'silky-pro' bed sheets

grabbed these just to use up the vouchers to the maximum.... =D

Safari Zoo Run 2017

upon the success of our first run @ Zouk Run 2016, we signed up for the Safari Zoo Run 2017

as we had signed up 3 months before the event, we got to enjoy the early bird discount at $46 each for the 2.5km family dash/walk... =D

i would say it was quite worth it IF we had stayed on at the zoo and had visited the River Safari on race day after the walk and also make use of the 50% discount to the Bird Park and Night Safari by March 2017.... but we didnt....

all of us didnt have breakfast and with Papa Teo rattling off Bak Ku Teh dishes less than 1km into the walk... exactly like how Ailing had illustrated in the pic below...
all we could think of was "Hurry up finish walking then go eat Bak Ku Teh!!!"...... we couldnt even be bothered to queue for the banana and water which were provided after the walk but made a beeline for the car instead.... wahahahaha....

anyway, Happi Angs while waiting for cab to the zoo for our February 'Happi Wife, Happi Angs' event... =D ... Poor Mr Ang, despite not feeling optimum, still have to 舍命陪老婆 for the event... luckily, the weather was in our favour - sun was napping behind the clouds too... =D

our first ever couple race tag....

used the 10% off merchandise voucher to buy a Team Ah Meng magnet for our fridge at $5.30

the amazing people who entertained me on a Saturday morning.... Luv Luv....

Baby Teo - my favourite baby girl... totally no fuss in the 4 hours we spent together in the zoo and at lunch....

so amazingly adorable and well-behaved was she that I told Mr Ang that if all babies are like her, I would be willing to go through all the hassles to be a Mama Ang...then Mr Ang replied, "With my genes, very difficult lah!"...

(-_-!!!) ... Why oh why must my Mr Ang holds a reputation of being a super hyper "sgn" when he was young.... =S

Happi feet while waiting in queue

Mascot Hornbill flagging us off after a 15 minutes wait...

pretty pretty collage by Ailing.....

took the opportunity to look see look see at some of the animals along the route... but i guessed it was too early for the animals as well.... most seems to be in a sleepy zombie mood... =P

so many cups thrown just after 1 use at each of the 2 water points....

Baby Teo dozed off within the last 500m of the walk..... so cute.... no crankiness at all before the nap.... I like.....

our 2nd couple medals... =*

Planting activity on 元宵节

Mr Ang came home with a goody bag from the teacher preparatory course last December that contained a metal tin of 5 different types of seeds ...

and some old school stationery

I was intrigued by the tin of seeds and decided it shall be one of our 'Happi Wife, Happi Angs' activities...

fast forward 2 months.... 元宵节... the perfect day for Mr and Mrs Ang to do some flower related activity .... Yippy Ya Yo!!!

Mr Ang had bought 2 pots for this activity so we decided to plant the sunflower and spinach on our first try...

sunflower seeds above and spinach seeds below...

instructions simple enough for us to follow yet we didn't follow cos our pots were too small to have 50cm and 30cm of soil... wahahahaha

so we just any how any how sprinkled the seeds in, covered with another layer of soil and put it out to wait for miracles to happen....

Team Ang KM vs Team Candy Chua

Stay tune to see whose pot of seeds will germinate and grow well oh... =D
