Day 3 of Bangkok - Chinatown & True Love Cafe

The day i dropped my phone in a grab cab ... =S... a text to hubby Ang to help me suspend my line from Singtel using Alfred's phone and we continued with our 吃吃玩玩 in bangkok... =D

first stop of the day - Chinatown

yummilious juicy pork satay  at 11 for 100 baht (S$4.20)

my favourite stationery shop in BKK... used to be 4 storeys full of stationery... now converted to one storey of miniso kind of products and 3 storeys of stationery ...

colour pencil plushie available in many different colours.... would love to have them in my art room but the thought of them collecting dust puts me off much too... so nopx... din buy any...

a pack of 12 cutsy pens at 60 baht (S$2.50) ... that's like only $0.20 each.... but din buy cos i still have tons of stationery and stickers left from previous year's bkk trip for this year and next year children's day gift ...

cutsy much A4 notepads at 49 baht (S$2.05) each... would love to buy many many but bought only 1 because each was really thick & heavy
and to charlene this goes to... =)

contact lens cases at 20 baht each (S$0.85)

i was a very controlled shopper, the other 4 came out with so much more....wallets, socks, bags etc  =P

another one of my favourite shop in Chinatown

buy 3 wholesale price - 295 baht (S$12.45) for these 3 waterproof bags.... flora one for mummy, rilakkuma for me and kitty one for mx

i thought we would be able to find a place for brunch @ Chinatown but i just couldn't get my bearings right ... our grumbling tummys put up such a performance that we had to cut short our Chinatown exploration ... we anyhow exited from one of the many lorongs and Grabbed to Ari station where i knew there was a shopping mall with many cafes/ restaurants...

we decided on Coco Curry house
bad choice.... level 3 curry on an empty tummy triggered Prasaad's tummy discomfort and he had to forgo all the fun thereafter...

this was IMMEDIATELY after lunch ....

on the tuk tuk from Ari station to True Love Husky Cafe

350 baht (S$14.75) per pax, inclusive of 1 hour play time with the dogs, a drink and a slice of cake

new dogs since our visit 2 years ago.... mad luv these two Nippon Paint dogs.... wahahahaha... which i found out later that they are called Old English Sheepdogs...

momo, the leader of the dog pack in the introductory video

upset husky cos its bowl of ice kenna snatched by another husky... oopx

we noticed that the 2 Old English Sheepdogs were walking round and round the enclosure with a pit-stop at this particular corner so Alvin and I took turns to park ourselves there to experience awesome touchable moments with them.... wahahahaha

Grabbed back to apartment for a rest before heading out to the night market.... poor Prasaad was in the front seat nursing a bad tummyache...
